• A CD-Burner? SCSI internal preferred, avoid Iomega. (In general, and for this in specific. Their CD burner is poorly designed (put any pressure on the top, and it won't spin, as the top is just a label). This doesn't speak well to the quality of the rest of their product line
• A Jazz drive, internal SCSI preferred, with media
• a printer. Please check it on the Un*x printer compatablity database.
• An HP black ink cartridge for the HP660C printer. But check if somebody else is getting me a printer. <G>.

• Computer stuff that won't work with Linux. Take a look at the Linux hardware database for a good idea. If it isn't listed, just make sure that it's easily returnable (by me). That means there should be a store near me.

• Computer books that claim to be good for beginners
• Analog clocks.
• Mugs -- I drink in glasses, even hot chocolate and coffee. More volume, less refills.
• Projectile weapons.
• Bumper-stickers. I don't have a bumper.
