Hey all. This is my wishlist. It's in the order I think of them, more or less. I'll be
updating this at random, so look at the last-updated time.

A CD-Burner? SCSI internal preferred, avoid Iomega. (In general, and for this in specific.
Their CD burner is poorly designed (put any pressure on the top, and it won't spin, as the
top is just a label). This doesn't speak well to the quality of the rest of their product
line

A Jazz drive, internal SCSI preferred, with media
-
a printer. Please check it on the
Un*x printer compatablity database.

Use your imagination.
Things I particularly don't want include:
-
"the perl cd bookshelf" (Aunt Linda already gave this to me) (which includes)
-
"Perl in a Nutshell"
-
"Programming Perl, 2nd edition"
-
"Mastering Algorithms with Perl"
-
"the perl cookbook"
-
"advanced perl programming"
-
ActiveState products for Linux.
-
Things on CD that I can download for free.
-
Computer stuff that won't work with Linux. Take a look at the
Linux hardware database for a good idea. If it isn't listed, just make sure that it's
easily returnable (by me). That means there should be a store near me.
-
StarOffice
- Books on HTML
- Computer books that claim to be good for beginners
- Analog clocks.
- Mugs -- I drink in glasses, even hot chocolate and coffee. More volume,
less refills.
- Projectile weapons.
- Bumper-stickers. I don't have a bumper.
