This site was created for my Fall 2000 Music 102 course paper, The Tune in the Machine. Look for more here soon, including a script to generate your own computer-generated music (given a complex number). For now, though, you can read the paper, and it's bibliography. (Both in MS Word 2000 format. I'll probably convert them to html some time soon.) Also, a sample is here, generated from the point -.70108 + 0.35726i. Also available is the perl script used to generate it, itiymuse.pl (it requires the MIDI module from CPAN).
